Hi everyone, I've been putting off this update for a while now, but unfortunately as of today I will be taking a break from updating this site.
I know it has been a while since the last update so I think I owe it to everyone to explain why I am making this hard decision. Over the last few months, maintaining this site and responding to your questions, combined with trying to maintain my own moss collection and professional career has taken a huge toll on my health. It has grown incredibly difficult for me to find time to update this site as my graduate studies have become more rigorous and my mosses have gone through a turbulent year (something I detailed for far too long in my last post). So with this in mind, I've decided to devote more time to myself and my mosses, and take a step back from having an online presence. This does not mean Sphagnum Grotto will be going anywhere, and I do one day hope to come back with vigor. But for now, the best move for me is to take a step back and just look out for my health.
I hope everyone isn't too disappointed about this. If you really need a new blog to follow in the meantime, I highly recommend Akagi's Flower World. I've also posted a collection of things I've learned about growing moss in the last few months here. I apologize for the lack of formatting, if I had more time I would prepare it to go up on the blog proper but I need to prioritize myself right now. Sorry. I hope I can see you all in the future once school winds down and my moss collection is in a healthier state. Until then, I wish everyone all the best.
